words to God

Lord God I ask that You be with me today. For so long I have been searching for a security to help me feel stable, but all along YOU were the only security I needed. 

I turn my life to Your hands again. I pray that Your will be done God. I know that you are never wrong. I am willing to be counted as one of Yours. I will spread the joy that You have laid in me with everyone, every where I go. 

God help me to be still and just know that you are God. Give me patience as I wait and see what will happen with the next two weeks. Lord, You know the plan that I have. But I know the plan that You have for me is much grander and above my knowing. I pray that You will lay your hand over my and guide me through this God. 

Please forgive me for those who I have angered against, as I know it is all in your plan and that obviously was not where You wanted me to be. 

I pray this in Your Holy name

Growing up I always attended private schools. I wore uniforms until 3rd grade when I transferred to a different private school, but it did not have uniforms. I don't know why but I always kind of wished that I still had them. Whenever my friends and I would go to the mall after school and I would see the little catholic school girls in their knee highs and checkered skirts or jumpers, I always had a bit of envy toward them. 

My inspiration for this outfit was the little catholic school girls. I had a locket with it but I felt like little orphan Annie, so I went with the pearls instead. I used the poka dot tights and boots to make it a bit more edgy. I also have this slight obsession with the peter pan collar trend.

This Freepeople blouse is yet another on sale piece. It is so comfortable and so versatile I love it! I sometimes just wear it around the house with a pair of knee highs because it is that comfortable. My rings are something that I wear pretty much everyday. They all have very special meaning to me; the Irish knot I bought in Ireland with two of my good friends and is kind of like our sister ring, the clauda ring was given to me by an amazing friend and is probably one of my favorite rings. I love that it is small, dainty and simple. The skinny rings are my bible verse rings; Jeremiah 29:11 and Philippians 9:16. Ever time I use my hands and they catch my eye they remind me why I am doing what I am doing, and to do it always to the best of my ability. The gold and silver ring was my mothers. I like to wear it because I miss her terribly and makes me feel close to her.

sweater, vest, belt, and skirt all forever 21. necklace american eagle 

This outfit was fun but a bit annoying when it came to walking across campus. My skirt kept sliding up, because the fabric was slick against the tights, and then would disappear  underneath the sweater and vest and get tucked under my backpack. In other words ... thank goodness the vest and backpack covered my bum other wise it would have been a cheek show! hahaha

Tshirt: forever21 Shorts: forever21 Sandals: Aldos 

I've been on the hunt for a good pair of highwaisted shorts for about 6 months now. I have a hard time finding a pair that fits me right; aren't too short, fit my in the legs and butt and still not too big in the waist, zipper doesn't bunch up and make me look like a boy. Finally I found these, and at forever21 on all places! They are a little shorter than I wanted them to be but I couldn't get over the pockets with the boho vs free people vibe they have. You will probably be seeing these shorts a lot because I love them, and I'm broke so I don't have very many hahaha
