I Can Hear the Bells

Well I hope all you lovies had a wonderful Valentines day!!

 {I know I did!}

Look at these gorgeous flowers that my prince charming gave me

there really isn't too much going on over here

broke college student trying to make it 

and have a little fun on the way

What can ya do

I'm currently looking for another job 

and trying to find an internship for the summer

I really wanted to take a few class this summer but 

they raised tuition

[AGAIN]

So it looks like I'm just going to be working my little booty off

and hopefully getting in shape while doing it

On the plus side though

That means I can go on more adventures! 

I can't wait to explore all over this beautiful place 

called Utah

If any of you want to com visit me over the summer 

I would love you forever and ever

>that includes you MOM. get your tiny little bum out here so we can play!<

This past weekend I had the honor of walking in my dear friend's

Makayala's wedding

She made an absolutely stunning bride

and her new hubby looked so charming in his dress blues  

Did I mention that she planned this entire wedding in two months!

... and that she did everything by herself !!

She is one savey little peanut let me tell you

she made all the desserts

sewed all the table clothes

sewed her own garter

made all the center pieces

made all the picture frames

and basically everything else that you saw at the wedding ...

she made it all

         Truly inspirational she is           

I couldn't be happier for her

    

I think my favorite part of the day was going to Chili's with everyone 

{and Makayla in her wedding dress}

We made quite the scene 

but we had an absolute blast

That and getting to slow dance with my prince charming at the end of the night 

It was pretty much a perfect day

{only i don't have a picture of the two of us. i know. i am really sad, because he looked so studly}      

Yes ... she made her own veil too

Hat Hair

For some reason lately

I have had this obsession with this so called "Beanie Hat"

Sense I don't really have the face for sun glasses

Hats are usually my go to thing

However

I never really thought that beanies were very attractive

{to be honest i thought it made everyone look like smurfs}

But they are all the range this season

I guess they have been all the range through out winter

but now I am just getting into them  

There are so many super cute looks that you can get out of them

{i really wish i had one ... }
[and money. money would be nice. if i had money i would definitely have a beanie. ... and a lot of other things too]

Valentines Day

I feel like this is a very 50/50 kind of day

{half of us love it and the other have loathes it}

any excuse to show the ones around me just how much I love them

I am ALL over it

[that and every store sells chocolate! ... talk about the best holiday ever!]

and who doesn't love an excuse to dress up and be exceptionally sexy

Alright my beauty buffs

I am usually not someone who would do this type of thing 

but I feel something needs to be said

 I will be the first to say I love love love all those silly little magazines

[you know the ones that are mostly filled with advertisements and gossip]

I get them to look at the pictures for fashion inspiration

I do sometimes actually read the articles though

I don't know if many of you have 

but some of them 

... are total bull ...

I think that it is kind of funny that some of the writers are getting paid bucket loads to tell us common knowledge 

and then we act like we have never heard or thought about it because

and that it is genius

Time to wise up a little ladies 

       

Before I give you my example 

I first want to say that I love Lauren Conrad 

and I think that she is a very talented young designer and business woman

However, she came out with an article 

{found on her web site}

That stated 

 "Try not to use straws (and definitely do not smoke). Pursing your lips constantly will cause micro lines to become serious crevices."

Really?!  

While we are at it ...

no smiling. it causes wrinkles by your eyes

no facial expressions. unnecessary movement of the face in repetitive motions causes wrinkles

  

The rest of the article talks about a few other things

 to help keep you beautiful ...

drink water

get lots of sleep

moisturize you skin 

wear sun tan lotion

Let's be honest

Do we really need to pay people to tell us to do these things

I'm pretty sure we can figure them out on our own

I don't know 

Maybe it's just me
but I find it a bit ridiculous some of the malarkie that we are fed

and that most woman tend to believe

{and trust me I was really holding back}
