I'm not really sure why but I have kind of this weird 

love obsession 

with Taylor Swift

I know that it isn't just a girl thing either

Okay Okay

I know sometimes I can be a little overly girly

{but who doesn't love being a princesses sometimes}

can you blame me?!

But I like to get down in the mud to sometimes too  

 There is just something about her lyrics 

the words that she picks can pretty much apply to any girl at some point in her life

She narrates what we all wish we could say on our own

I've always thought that music is what happens when you can't just verbalize what you are trying to say. There is just something about putting the words to rhythms and chords that make is that much easier .... and sometimes that much nicer.

Was much anticipated and of course no disappointment

 I have not hear every song off of the album yet

It's not really in my budget to buy for myself when christmas is something so fast

  However 

I have gotten a chance to listen to a few of her songs off of youtube

The song "Begin Again"

If by far one of my favorite.

The words are simply mesmerizing

No surprise there

and it kind of applies to my life at the moment

Also the melodies and the chord progressions just tickle my ears

I'm also kind of in love with the music video too

It might just be the fact that it is set in Paris, France 

[Lets face it ... anything placed in France is going to be stunning]

     

The style of her clothing through out the video

Her barely there makeup and accented red lips

The vintage light throughout the entire video

I wish I saw my life with a light tint like that   

Let's not forget this semi obnoxious song that will get stuck in your head for hour upon hours ... Never Ever Getting Back Together.

In true Taylor Swift style the video is corky and totally random

And. I. Love. It.     

I think when it comes down to it 

It is her outlook on life that intreeges us the most

She lives her life always happy

Enjoying the littlest of things and appreciating the ones around you

Knowing where you come from and always thanking them and letting them know

Making sure you put yourself first and live the life that

YOU want

not the life that others are wanting you to live

Setting the goals and always going far beyond what you've set and others set for you

Living life like a princess

Having tea  parties with your friends at the age of 20

Getting dressed up for no apparent reason

the effortless sexy and beauty 

Minimal make up 

         

     

Over all just in general her style and out look on life is one to admire

... and now for a montage of Taylor and the looks that I love ...

This post I think is the most over due one yet 

BUT 

It has finally arrived 

So in the beginning of August I moved out of that crazy ladies house and into a new beautiful apartment. 

I have the same two room mates 

Marita and Tyra

and we all love our new home

Alright here are some pictures for you lovelies 

Marita and I found that sweet couch at our local resale shop for 30 bucks!! 

Pretty much everything in our house was either been gifted to us or we bought used 

at a very low price ... come on we are college students here.

Alright well I guess I have kind of a LOT to catch you up on.

Being me though

Rather than just typing it all out I'm just going to do random little tid bits

It most likely wont be in order

Meet Dolce

One afternoon I was getting ready to get in my car when this cute little fluff came running down the street. Naturally I bent down and called it over ... and this friendly little bub jumped right into my arms. I instantly fell in love and claimed him as mine. I called the number on his tag but it was out of service. I made some posters and put them out ... gave him a bath ... and went to bed. He slept right in my arms the entire night. Then the next morning he was up and bouncy again, running around the apartment ears flopping in the wind. I called a few groomers and ended up finding his owner. It was a little old woman that loved him very very much. She cried on the phone when I told her I had found him. I wish so badly that I could have kept him ... but it makes me happy knowing he has such a loving home.

My best friend Dayana decided to devote her life to God and was baptized under the LDS church. I am so proud of her for making such an amazing decision ... and all on her own. I love and support you in all that you do. I can't tell you how proud I am of you and how honored I was to be able to be able of your ceremony and sing. I can't wait to watch your walk with God grow and progress <3

It was also Dayana's birthday. Growing up Jehovah witness she had never had a birthday party, because in that religion you don't celebrate any thing basically. So, Jackie and I got her a cake that read, "My First Birthday" with a big number one candle and threw her a surprise party. She also had said that she has always wanted to get cake smashed in her face ... I was happy to help her out there :)

Sometimes I just like to stop and look at these beauties

I'm not going to lie .... when I first moved here  (though it was beautiful) I kind of hated it.

I had a really hard time being so far from home and struggling in other relationships that I never really got to realize how beautiful of a place I really live in ... and how lucky I am to even have the chance to. 

Now that I am single and have had a good two months to just focus on myself

I found out that I really do love it here! 

It makes me so happy to live in such a beautiful place. Yes, it is far from home and probably the last place that any of my friends would have pictured me in ... but it makes me happy. The people here are amazing and so filled with God's love. 

My school is small but big enough to give you that "big school feel" but still the "small school attention"

It's relaxing and peaceful    

People take their time to get places and everyone is always happy

I feel independant and strong knowing that I am on my own and actually making it

I want someone to love me this much some day
